My Tree Project

What would happen to our world and society in an age of rapid change if every young person worked with their community to research, plan, propagate and plant relevant endemic species in their area? And if those young people used artistic expression to share about the vitality of trees and what this experience means to them … what then?

In a nutshell

The My Tree Project empowers children to play an active role in dealing with the challenges of climate change by adding to tree canopy and understorey in the western suburbs. As these plants grow they will help to create a cooler and healthier environment into the future. Children also express how they feel about nature (habitat and wildlife) using a range of media.
